The Technology: Why We Use Polyurethane Foam
Many contractors still use “mudjacking,” an older method that pumps a heavy cement slurry under your slab. At Concrete Slab Jacking Inc., we use high-density polyurethane foam because it offers a superior, longer-lasting repair.
While mudjacking requires drilling large, quarter-sized holes that can be unsightly, our process uses tiny, dime-sized injection ports that are barely visible once patched. Additionally, traditional mud slurry is very heavy and can actually burden the soil, causing the slab to sink again over time. Our polyurethane foam is lightweight and will not add stress to the underlying soil.
