Non-invasive Interior Slab Leveling in MD, DC, & NVA
Concrete Slab Jacking Inc. offers fast and efficient interior slab leveling. Our innovative raising technique is a superior, non-invasive alternative to traditional methods of interior concrete repair. We use durable, environmentally friendly polyurethane foam to realign sunken slabs in your home. Other interior slab lifting methods, such as tunneling and installing steel piling, are more invasive and disruptive to your home. Our professional structural analysts use minimally invasive methods to correct and repair your issues without digging, destroying, or disturbing your home or landscaping.
Why Slabs Sink in Your Home
Concrete slabs apply pressure to the soil underneath, pulling moisture and compaction from the soil. This can cause the slab to sink over time, creating cracks in the surface of the concrete. As the slab settles over wet, weak soil, the floor can pull away from walls and doorways, creating unsightly gaps at the seams. These gaps and cracks create dangerous tripping hazards that will worsen over time. Our concrete lifting and repair specialists offer efficient and affordable repairs for damaged concrete. We use minimally invasive methods to raise your sunken slabs to a level position.
How Concrete Leveling Works
Interior concrete leveling involves minor drilling to insert a minimal amount of small 3/8″ injection ports to pump the Polyurethane foam under the sunken slab. We can control the lift with the volume of foam until the slab is level. The polyurethane will reach around 90% rigidity within 30 minutes. Once the concrete is level, the small holes from injection points are sealed and smoothed over.
